The new stage of treatment

Bri in the infusion room receiving treatment

Well, Bri started her new treatment last week January 10th, and the doctors said she'll have chemo every 10 days now, but it will depend if her counts are high enough, if they are low she might have to wait for a few days until she is ready, and every time she gets chemo the dose is going to be a little bit higher, we have to say that we are a little bit scared since they mentioned that the chemo is going to lower her counts, she already had an ear infection over the weekend and that means she is expose to getting sick easier. I guess one of the hardest things is that she is tired of being in the house, on Sunday she was excited and got ready to go to church, it really breaks our hearts not to be able to take her...but we know we are doing the things that are best for her. We really appreciate the Aaronic Priesthood for coming every Sunday to give her the sacrament, she is always ready and happy when we tell her you are coming, even when She doesn't understand everything. We know that she Is learning how important it is for us to be able to partake of the sacrament, to remember our Savior and his Sacrifice. We are praying and hoping that she gets through this stage as good or even better than the other stages. We never thought how much we were gonna miss going to church as a family, they just finished a new chapel behind our house and our kids love to see the beautiful building through our back door, we couldn't go to the dedication since Bri wasn't feeling good, but we love to see the church as a testimony of the faith that we have in our Heavenly Father, because it means that there is righteous people making covenants every Sunday trying to be like our Savior. There is no doubt in our hearts the Heavenly Father love us and we are his children. We know the Gospel makes a difference in our lives.

  3. Brianna amazes us! She was actually in my sons nursery class last year. My kids include her in their prayers, even though they aren't all sure exactly who it is we are praying for! Glad to hear she finished induction; it is one step closer to health! Keep us all updated!
